45.What is called Adharma (Unrighteousness)? Clarification about what is Adharma is given in the original Shrimad Bhagwatji¹⁵ of Hindu Dharma.

Verse mentioned in Shrimad Bhagwatji’s Skanda: 7, Adhyay 15 ..

Meaning: There are five branches of Adharma.

1)    Vidharma

2)    Pardharma

3)    Aabhaas

4)    Upama, and

5)    Chhal

A person who knows Dharma (Righteousness) should renounce all these like Adharma (Unrighteousness)

Meaning:

1)    Any action done with religious intent but creates obstacles in following one’s own Dharma is “Vidharma”.

2)    Dharma preached by someone else for another person is “Pardharma”.

3)    Hypocrisy or pretension is named “Upadharma” or “Upama”.

4)    Interpreting the words of scriptures in another way is “Chhal”.

Note: The meaning of “Aabhaas” is not given in the above verse, but we can understand that any other religion, wrongly giving a false “Aabhaas” (Illusion) of being the original/true religion, is also Adharma.

46.      Where does Satpanth stand in the definition of Adharma from the perspective of Hindu Scriptures? If Satpanth is compared with the branches of Adharma as mentioned above, then;
