Since the capital of Shri Akhil Bharatiya Kutch Kadva Patidar Samaj is located at Nakhatrana, Kutch, in any kind of social activities, the role of the youth of the local area is very important. After years of struggle over the Satpanth-Sanatan issue, Piranapanthis filed false cases, and when the police came to Nakhatrana Boarding to arrest Rameshbhai Vagadiya, upon realizing this, these youth friends of Kutch gathered a huge convoy of youths in just one hour. When Rameshbhai was admitted to Devashish Hospital instead of Ahmedabad, even though it was the festival of Holi, friends from Kutch Yuvasangh were present at the hospital that night. Rameshbhai instructed us to definitely go to the Central Yuvasangh meeting being held at Hosur, present the report of the incident that occurred here, and take up the task of removing Satpanth from the society forever.
At that time, even though I and other office bearers were supposed to go to Haridwar for the Senior Citizen Aerial Tour, leaving that work aside, we reached Hosur directly with the then Kutch Yuvasangh President Damji Vasani. In that meeting, we gave complete information about the incident regarding the arrest of Rameshbhai Vagadiya at Nakhatrana. A large number of Satpanthi youths were present in this meeting. They were also the main office bearers of this region and the donors of this meeting were also Satpanthis. Yet, without keeping any hesitation for anyone, these matters were discussed extensively. Amidst a heated atmosphere, the then Central Yuvasangh President Jayantibhai Lakdawala and Secretary Gaurangbhai Dhanani and the team decided that Yuvasangh would jump into this religious issue of the society. Before this meeting, Yuvasangh could not even utter the “S” of Satpanth. Youths from all over India supported our representations and at the end of the discussion, Central Yuvasangh issued a “Saffron Letter” (Kesariyo Patra) to remove Satpanthi youths from the executive committee and to support the society firmly. (This Saffron Letter has been published on page 74 of the book ‘Satpanth Chhodo’).
The youths of the entire Kutch were sitting at Nakhatrana Boarding waiting for us. They were eager to get information about the decision of Yuvasangh. At that time, there was a hidden fear among many elders of the society as well, and no elder wanted to get involved in this hassle. They had only one wish in their minds that Satpanthis should stay with us and our Golden Jubilee Festival gets celebrated. However, we youths had decided that we will celebrate the Golden Jubilee Festival of the society with great pomp but will not allow entry to a single Satpanthi in it.
It was decided to hold the first meeting after Rameshbhai’s arrest at the Boarding. But, the elders of the society did not give permission. So, that meeting was immediately arranged at Virani village. In which a very large number of brothers and sisters remained present, and discussions gained momentum that if Satpanthis do not withdraw the cases filed before the Swarnim Mahotsav, they should not be allowed to participate in this festival. In a few days, the second meeting was held at the Boarding without the society’s permission. During this time, the construction work of Sanskar Dham was going on for the interests of Sanatanis and for the propagation of Lord Laxminarayan. Due to discussions that a new faction is being formed again in the society, very few people were joining it. We held some meetings of this movement at Sanskar Dham. We promoted Sanskar Dham a lot, due to which many people were inspired to join Sanskar Dham.
Deciding in the executive of Kutch Region, a letter was sent to the society. If Satpanth people are included in the Golden Jubilee Festival, then no friends from Kutch Region will cooperate in any kind of work. I handed over this letter personally to the Central Society President Ramjibhai with my signature as Vice President. There was also an argument in somewhat heated words.
The entire Kutch had joined in this protest. In this work, there was guidance and cooperation of many stalwarts like former friends of Krantidal Dr. Shantilal Senghani, Jayantbhai (Kotda), Ratilal Khetani, Dahyabhai Senghani, Amrut Dholu, Devrambhai Rudani. Finally, the Central Society decided to hold an Extraordinary General Meeting. In which caste members from all over India remained present in very large numbers. Kutch Yuvasangh also put in a lot of strength here and gathered Sanatanis from every village. At that time, we started keeping constant guard around the Boarding in the role of Sanatani soldiers so that no Satpanthis come and create obstacles in this meeting.
On this day, which was like a victory day for Sanatan, the Central Society released a “White Paper” and declared that this society belongs only to Sanatanis, thereby infusing consciousness, energy, and enthusiasm among all Sanatanis.
Thus, I bow down today to the hard work of the youths of Kutch in making the Golden Jubilee Festival and the fifth convention of the society successful.
