Vishram Meghji Ramjiyani migrated from Deshalpar village to Bharapar. He also moved from Bharapar to Kodai village, which had a diverse population. During that time, all the elders in the village practiced Satpanth. One day, Vishram Bapa was questioned about his Hinduism, which was perceived to be Muslim in practice. He was insulted on the street and decided to leave Satpanth and embrace the original Sanatanan Dharma.
Vishram Bapa, a social reformer, faced a lot of opposition from the Satpanth Samaj when he took on the task of freeing Naat. However, he remained steadfast and decided to build temples of Lord Lakshminarayan in 21 villages of the Kanthi Division to achieve his goal. He took the responsibility of building the first temple in Madanpura village, and in Samvat 1994 (AD 1938), the construction work of Lord Sri Lakshminarayana temple began.
During the temple building movement in Durgapur village, the old religious brothers caused trouble numerous times. In response, Vishram approached Baba and explained the situation. Baba encouraged Vishram to act with courage and visit Durgapur Nawavas, where he could motivate his fellow brothers and start working on the temple without any hesitation. Baba also offered his assistance, stating that he and his friends would come to Navavas with the whole platoon if necessary. Baba reminded Vishram and his brothers to continue their work with courage and determination, promising them that they would receive double the reward for their efforts.
P.O. Vishram Bapa was the headman of Madanpura village. He had a strong influence on the social, family, government, and police systems. He was known for his courage and ability to find solutions to any problem. The police system was hesitant to enter Madanpura-Kodai village without his permission, which shows how respected he was. Vishram Bapa and Arjan Bapa were close friends and often organized social events together. In Madanpura village, everyone trusted Pujya Vishram Bapa and his leadership. He was responsible for preparing the Madanpura temple for worship and entrusted its management to the community.
The Lakshminarayan temple in Madanpura village, which was built by the hands of courageous, intelligent, and socially active beggars, has completed 75 years. Shri Vishram Meghji Ramjiyani (Madanpura-Kodai), Shri Arjan Gopal Velani, and Shri Vishram Meghji Ramjiyani (Madanpura-Kodai) were among the beggars of Kanthi area who spread the banner of Lord Lakshminarayan’s Sanatan in the entire area. Shri Bhanji Nanji Velani (Durgapur-Nawawas) and Shri Ratnabapa (Chhakoshiwadi-Talvada, Ramnagar) were the four elders who together freed 21 villages of Kanthi area from satpanth and raised the flag of Sanatanan Dharma by building Shri Lakshminarayan temples village by village. They laid the foundation for establishing Sanatanan Dharma. These four elders, along with all the elders who cooperated in this work, deserve immense respect.
